Day 1 Arrival in Vientiane

Upon your arrival in Vientiane, our guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Take the remainder of the day to relax and, if time permits, explore the old urban areas of the capital city. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel in Vientiane.

Day 2Vientiane - Xieng Khouang

After breakfast, start the day with a half-morning exploration of Vientiane. Visit the notable attractions such as Thatluang stupa, Patuxai, and Wat sisaket. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for a 30-minute flight to Xieng Khouang province. Once you arrive, transfer to your hotel and in the afternoon, visit the MAG Center, an organization dedicated to clearing landmines from the Secret War period (1964-1974). Overnight stay at a hotel in Xieng Khouang.

Day 3Discover Plain of Jars

Today, begin your exploration of the mysterious Plain of Jars, a remarkable archaeological site. Visit sites 1, 2, and 3 to unravel the secrets of these ancient artifacts. Explore historical sites such as Wat Phia, That Foon (a 12th-century temple and stupa), and stop by a nearby Hmong village to learn about their history. Day 5Mekong Cruise, Pak Ou cave & Cultural, history tour

Today’s adventure begins with a private cruise along the Mekong River to the famous Pak Ou caves. Explore the caves and behold the thousands of Buddha statues lining the walls. Return to Luang Prabang for a city tour, which includes visits to the Royal Palace Museum, Wat Mai, Heune Chan heritage house, and a leisurely stroll to Wat Xiengthong.
