Day 1 Arrive in Vientiane

Welcome to Vientiane! Upon arrival, explore the city or relax at your hotel. Prepare for your adventure into the heart of Laos.

Day 2Vientiane to Luang Namtha by Train

After a scenic train ride to Luang Namtha, transfer to Ban Prang village to begin your trek. Luang Namtha – Ban Prang – Jungle Campbase 1. Your trek begins at Ban Prang, located 35km south of town. Hike through steep hills, rice fields, and pristine forests, enjoying panoramic ridge-line views. Enjoy a locally prepared lunch under ancient trees before climbing deeper into the jungle. Set up camp near a tranquil stream and relax or join your guide in cooking dinner. End the night with stargazing and the calming sounds of the jungle.

Day 3Jungle Camp based 1, Salt Lick Area Wildlife Tracks – Ban Nalan Neua

Start your day with a fresh jungle wash and a warm drink. Continue trekking through the dense forest, keeping an eye out for wildlife. The trail ascends ridgelines with spectacular views before descending to Ban Nalan village on the Nam Ha riverbank. Relax, swim, or interact with the locals. End your day around a campfire, sharing stories with village residents.

Day 4Ban Nalan Neua – Ban Nalan Tai – Ban Nam Koi – Luang Namtha

Wake early to experience village life as locals prepare for their day. After breakfast, trek to the Lantan tribe village of Ban Nam Koi, known for bamboo paper and indigo dyeing. After visiting, cross a mountain trail to Ban Nam Lue, where your trek ends. Return to Luang Namtha in the late afternoon and board the train to Luang Prabang.

Day 5Alms-Giving Ceremony & Kuang Si Waterfall – Departure
