Day 2: 4000 Islands to Pakse via Wat Phou
In the morning, travel from 4000 Islands to the ancient Khmer temple complex of Wat Phou. Afterward, continue to Pakse, with opportunities for landscape and cultural photography along the way. Overnight in Pakse.
Day 3: Pakse to Paksong and Sekong

Day 7: Thakhaek to Vientiane
Travel from Thakhaek to Vientiane, making stops for photography as interesting scenes arise. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 8: Vientiane to Phongsaly
Take a morning flight from Vientiane to Phongsaly. Travel to Phongsaly district, the old capital, where numerous shooting opportunities await in hill tribe villages and the urban area. Climb Phoufa Mountain for panoramic views. Overnight in Phongsaly District.
Day 9: Phongsaly to Boun Nue
