My name is Ken FJ Her, and I was born in a highland village in northern Laos — a place where the roads were made of red earth, and the nearest school was a day’s walk away. I grew up not just hearing stories, but living them — stories of survival, war, migration, and hope.
I founded Brother Tours not just to show people the beauty of Laos, but to help them feel its heartbeat — to connect with its people, walk its sacred trails, and understand its spirit. This country isn’t something I studied. It’s something that shaped me.
